How to improve the heat utilization rate of brazing furnace?

2021-10

In the process of using a brazing furnace, we all hope that the higher the efficiency, the better. So what can we do to improve its heat utilization rate? It's actually very simple. As long as we reduce heat dissipation, reduce heat storage in the furnace lining, and reduce the weight of fixtures and pallets, when we choose a furnace, we should also learn to recognize its quality. In this article, a detailed introduction will be provided around improving the heat utilization rate of welding furnaces and testing their quality techniques.
1. Reduce heat dissipation.
When other conditions are the same, the heat loss of the brazing furnace is proportional to the surface area of the furnace wall. Compared with the box furnace, the external surface of the cylindrical furnace is nearly 14% smaller, and the external wall temperature is 10 ℃ lower, which can reduce the heat dissipation of the furnace wall by about 20%, reduce the heat storage of the furnace lining, and reduce the unit energy consumption of processing workpieces by about 7%.
2. Reduce heat storage in the furnace lining.
When the dimensions of the furnace and lining are the same and the furnace temperature is the same, the surface temperature of the furnace outer wall is much lower than that of heavy bricks and light refractory bricks. The time cost of heating the ceramic fiber furnace lining is only one-fifth to one-fifth of the six branches. When the welding furnace operates intermittently, using traditional ceramics and fibers by activating the lining is clearly a particularly beneficial development.
3. Reduce the weight of fixtures and pallets.
One method to reduce weight is to improve the structure of fixtures and pallets, while another method is to choose suitable materials and use high-quality heat-resistant steel to manufacture fixtures and pallets, which has the economic benefits of extending service life and saving energy.
